Due to a large expansion of our provision to the electricity distribution network covering the Midlands, South Wales and the South West, we are looking for two Engineering Lecturers to join our established team, responsible for apprenticeship and higher education provision. In addition to delivery at our Coalville campus our provision will additionally be situated at Taunton, Tipton and Cardiff. We would welcome candidates from these locations and candidates who are prepared to travel and stay way when necessary. Travel expenditure and quality accommodation will be provided. Using your excellent communication skills you will develop and deliver innovative learning that engages and motivates students. You will have experience of the engineering sector along with a desire to educate the next generation of professionals within the industry. You will use your up to date knowledge and understanding of Electrical Engineering to deliver excellence and innovation in learning to industry standards, incorporating up-to-date methods and practices. You may currently be working in Education or within the Engineering sector and looking for your first job in teaching. A power engineering background, with high voltage distribution networks and low voltage supplies, would be advantageous; a good knowledge of maths would also be desirable although not essential. Your willingness to obtain a relevant teaching qualification is essential. In return you can expect support from the College in helping you achieve this.
