We are looking for a Motor Vehicle Lecturer with the ability to deliver across the full range of the College’s Training and Assessment Centres provision. You will be an inspiring lecturer who is gifted in delivering varied and imaginative sessions and will have a record of good retention and success rates. Ideally you will hold the IRTEC Assessor qualification. The college are willing to support you through this, however you are required to: • Have a minimum of five years automotive industry experience within the Heavy Vehicle/ Passenger Carrying Vehicle repair sector. • Provide evidence that you have an up to date knowledge of good practice in Heavy Vehicle repair, maintenance and inspection including all CPD you have undertaken in the last five years. • Provide all certified qualifications relating to the knowledge of good practice in Heavy Vehicle/ Passenger Carrying Vehicle repair, maintenance and Inspection. Working as part of the Training and Assessment Centre Team you will be responsible for the delivery, assessment and to assist in the development of courses. You will possess an excellent knowledge and understanding of both Light and Heavy goods vehicles and be able to plan and use a range of effective and appropriate teaching and learning techniques. As well as your relevant experience and current knowledge, you will also hold or be studying for a relevant teaching qualification (DTLLS, PGCE or equivalent).
